Desert Moon: Bedroom Breakdown. #1 - Master Bedroom - King with ensuite Master bathroom and walk in closet. Sliding door with access to backyard #2 - Bedroom - Queen bed #3 - Bedroom - Queen Murphy Bed. Sliding door with access to backyard. Note: this room will be set up as a Music room as pictured with coffee tables and chairs. Associated sheets and pillows will be in closet #4 - 23ft Airstream Bambi - Full Bed with small full bathroom, kitchenette and sofa area. Full access with exception to inside container which is used for storage. The older Airstream in the back is accessible but is empty and just a shell. No one else is on property while rented by guests. I am not onsite but myself or family member can always be onsite with in 15-30 minutes. We are local and live nearby. Desert Moon is located in Thousand Palms off Ramon Road, going straight down takes you to Cathedral City and Palm Springs. Just one block away is Monterey ave which connects to Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage . The property sits towards the end of Desert Moon Dr with plenty of privacy and tranquility. While we do have neighbors, they are not close enough to disturb or be disturbed (though we ask that you respect them as if they were right next door). Shopping at Costco, Walmart, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, In and Out or the Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage are with in 5 minutes away at the I-10 exits. The Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve with 20k acres of desert wilderness and hiking trails is less than 10 minutes away. This home's neighborhood is a hidden gem of the desert. A Vehicle is required to access this property. Popular rideshare apps like Uber, Lyft, Doordash can access. ◦ EARLY CHECK IN & LATE CHECK OUT Stand check in is 3pm and standard check out is 10am. If you're interested in an early arrival/late departure, please message your host about availability. They can be added for an additional fee $95 each if available. PETS: -We allow up to 3 pets onsite with a fee of $85 per pet. ◦ DESERT ROAD To access this home you'll need to travel for .5 miles on a dirt road. This road is easily accessible by standard cars and regularly has free flowing traffic from residents. Once you arrive to property there is gravel driveways around the whole property. ◦ DESERT CRITTERS The surrounding outdoor areas are common to have some visits from desert bugs and animals in their natural habitat. Please be aware the potential presence of Jackrabbits, Lizards, Snakes, Beetles, Flies, Grasshoppers, Spiders and Scorpions. The house is regularly fumigated inside and out monthly. In the case you run into any of the above you can contact us for assistance. ◦ PROPANE GAS & SEPTIC TANK The home is on its own gas and sewage system. Please be conscious of use of gas and sewage(Please ONLY use provided toilet paper and do not flush any other products aside from toilet paper) ◦ AIRSTREAM The airstream bambi shown in pictures 53-58 is accessible and can sleep two guests in a full sized bed. It is powered by solar and propane. Do note that there is not full power to fridge and microwave and ask that guest use the main kitchen. There is a full bathroom but ask that our guest follow the displayed instructions when using the shower and toilets. Please inquire in advance as we want our/your guests staying in this space to feel comfortable. Desert Moon features all the unique amenities made popular in nearby Joshua Tree but within a 10 minute drive to the popular cities of Palm Springs or Palm Desert. Just off the beaten path from the highway, when your group arrives you'll have 1 acre of privacy to experience your desert dreams. Jimmy’s property is the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend with friends. Our group had an amazing time lounging at the pool and making the most of all of the games and amenities that the property had to offer. Our dogs loved being able to roam around the large fenced-in property. Jimmy was responsive and very kind when setting up our stay. Would recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely look to stay here again!
My family and I enjoyed our private oasis everything was as described and looked just like the photos. Jimmy was very responsive with checking in, checking out, and everything in between. I have no bad things to say about our stay we all loved it here!
Excellent home & property! We booked this stay at the very last minute for a celebration with our 3 young adult children. We only stayed 2 nights but we had a lot of fun with all of the activities and amenities. Our only complaint is that we wish we would’ve stayed longer. Jimmy was extremely friendly and responsive from the start. This is an owner managed property and it shows in the thoughtfulness and details. Jimmy has literally thought of every tiny detail to make your stay easy, fun and convenient. The home is immaculate and adorably decorated for a desert stay and well set up for entertaining. We had a small dinner party for 5 but this home could easily accommodate many more. I especially loved the long outdoor dining table under the market lights and the marquee all lit up with a special birthday message. We played lots of pickle ball, video games and karaoke. We would 100% recommend this property for a really fun time. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. Thank you Jimmy
